Kinesiology focuses on movement, strength, and exercise-based rehabilitation to support
recovery, function, and performance.
Kinesiology is more exercise-based and often follows physiotherapy or injury diagnosis. It’s ideal for building strength, endurance, and long-term movement habits.
Insurance coverage is limited. We can direct bill ICBC, but most extended health plans do not cover kinesiology.
Kinesiology sessions can feel similar to personal training but are focused on rehabilitation and functional movement rather than fitness alone.

Absolutely. Our team is uniquely qualified to support post-rehabilitation clients. Whether you’re recovering from orthopedic surgery, joint replacement, or an injury, we design customized sessions that support healing while building strength safely. We focus on improving range of motion, muscle activation, balance, and neuromuscular control.
By targeting the underlying weaknesses that led to or resulted from your injury, we help reduce the risk of re-injury and ease the transition from rehab to full function. We also collaborate with your healthcare providers when needed to ensure your program complements your medical treatment plan.
Your first session is focused on assessing your condition and creating a personalized treatment plan. Expect a detailed conversation about your medical history, symptoms, and goals. Your physiotherapist will conduct a physical examination to diagnose your condition. This session lays the foundation for your treatment plan, tailored to meet your specific needs and health objectives.
