Movement-focused massage therapy for active individuals.
Seth Obrigewitsch, RMT, BSc(Kin)
Registered Massage Therapist | Sports & Movement-Based Massage
Kelowna RMT with a kinesiology degree and personal training background — because understanding how the body moves makes massage therapy work better.
Seth Obrigewitsch is a Registered Massage Therapist at Affinity Family Wellness in Kelowna, BC, registered with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and is a CSEP-certified personal trainer, a foundation in movement science that distinguishes how he thinks about the body and what it needs to recover. Before entering massage therapy, he worked as an individual coach and provided dryland training for hockey teams, experience that continues to inform his performance-aware approach to care.
Seth’s clinical focus includes sports injuries, muscle tension from training, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. His treatment approach combines deep-tissue massage, myofascial release, active release therapy, and trigger-point techniques with individualized exercise prescription, always with an eye on both the immediate problem and the longer-term picture. He wants patients to leave with less pain and more understanding of how to keep it that way.
He works extensively with athletes and active individuals who want to recover faster, prevent injury, or return to the things they enjoy without pain. He’s also well-suited to patients who want a more movement-informed approach to their care, someone who understands not just how to treat the tissue, but why it got that way and how to stop it happening again.
Seth is practical and patient-focused. He discusses schedules, goals, and realistic home care so that every patient leaves with a plan they can actually follow.
